How Zumba classes are?

Zumba® classes – similar to aerobic classes – consist of 3 parts.

In the first part we do a warm-up and tune-up our body a further hyperactivity moreover "put down our everyday thoughts into the corner".

The middle part is the real Zumba by constructed different 4-6 minutes long music hits. A more intensive musical piece is always followed by a slower, more relaxing one to be able to last longer. (It gives the character of the interval zumba training, by increasing staying power, strengthen heart muscles and blood vessels.) During the slower pieces strengthening exercises are built in the ‘menu’ by repairing the tone of muscular apparatus. Movements contain elements of both dance and aerobics and not only the limbs but the middle part of body – trunk and hip – move powerfully. There are not long-lasting choreographies we have to memorize therefore Zumba needs lower concentration. The atmosphere of genuine Latin music makes training very enjoyable.

The last part, at the end of the lesson is cool-down. Its elementary goal is to put the accelerated body back into zero setting in favour of reaching a complex training effect. (reducing blood pressure and pulse)

A Zumba class can be 30, 45 and 60 minutes depends on the place and instructor.
